Jack Vettriano

I have been looking at the work of Jack Vettriano and I am particularly fond of these three images. I feel that they invoke the same kind of glamorous, noir feeling as the shoot I did a few weeks ago when I tried to capture a inviting images with a dark narrative undertone. These shots feature the classic femme fatale character, shown via her groomed hair, seductive clothing and lit cigarette. These paintings have a slightly ominous feel to them as the male character is always obscured from view in some way. I find these images fascinating and beautiful and I am going to try and take some shots which provoke the same visual impact.
