"Song to the Siren"

On the floating, shapeless oceans I did all my best to smile
Til your singing eyes and fingers drew me loving into your eyes
And you sang "Sail to me, sail to me; Let me enfold you"
Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you
Did I dream you dreamed about me? Were you here when I was full sail?
Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken love lost on your rocks
For you sang, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow"
Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow
I'm as puzzled as a newborn child
I'm as riddled as the tide.
Should I stand amid the breakers? Or shall I lie with death my bride?
Hear me sing: "Swim to me, swim to me, let me enfold you"
"Here I am. Here I am, waiting to hold you"

Mulholland Drive in 3 minutes...

The Blue Box from Mulholland Drive

This mysterious blue box features in the pivotal scene in the film...see my video 'Mulholland Drive in 3 minutes' to see for yourself. This box is the gateway from fantasy to reality. I am going to present my work in a blue box as inspired by the film!

Great Scene from Double Indemnity...

Front Cover Design

I have decided to commission an illustartion for the front cover of my dissertation. Inspired by pulps/hard boiled fiction I will produce my own 'novella'. These novels are the basis for many forties noir screenplays. Taking inspiration from one of my own images the illustration will be in pulp fiction style, such as this image.
